[IUCC-HPC] User looking for GPU advice

Query from a professor:
I need and advice for purchasing a desktop and a laptop with GPU.
I have a budget of 10000 NIS for each, and I want to each to have a small GPU card. The main requirement from the GPU is that it will be compatible with all new versions of CUDA and Matlab.

Any advice?
